The GFS Symmetrical U-Cup is a single-acting polyurethane hydraulic cylinder seal that can be used as either a primary Rod or Piston seal. The U-Cup is designed to have an interference fit within the seal housing and can be used in conjunction with a back-up ring for heavy duty applications. The U-Cup can be installed back to back, in separate grooves, to seal dual acting pistons without pressure trapping. The standard material offering is a 95A durometer polyurethane; additional materials can be supplied upon request.
